STILLWATER REFLECTIONS
A Temporary Interactive Space
Stillwater Reflections (2023–2025) is a temporary interactive space designed to evoke awe, inspiration, and communal connection. Spanning 60 feet in length and 40 feet in width, with a height of 9 feet, the installation enveloped visitors in a serene environment composed of flowing fabric and softly glowing paper lanterns that led attendees, like a river, to the focal point: brilliant white sun that served as an altar, adorned with flowers and crystals.
Created for the Sacred Acre Festival in Ninilchik, Alaska, the potential of this installation was vast. Stillwater was workshop space by day and a conscious cinema by night, and served as a beautiful container for such events as ecstatic dances, cacao ceremonies, breathwork and yoga workshops.
Co-created with Tristan Cobine, Stillwater Reflections offered a soft landing where light, texture, and community converged to inspire a sense of harmony between people and place.
