ADVICE BOOTH

The Advice Booth (2019) is a temporary interactive sculpture created for the transformative environment of the Burning Man event in Black Rock City, Nevada. Constructed from wood and standing 8 feet tall with a 10-foot diameter, the installation invited participants to engage in spontaneous moments of connection, reflection, and playful exchange. 

Painted bright red to stand out against the dusty desert backdrop of the playa, Advice Booth inspired curiosity from a distance. Hidden treasures such as a faux prescription pad, diagnosis manual, and medication bottles rewarded those who explored the nooks behind the booth.

Rooted in the principles of participation and communal creativity, The Advice Booth fostered meaningful human interaction, transforming simple conversations into shared experiences of wisdom, humor, and vulnerability.
